Clark, Dean

Graveside service for Dean Clark, 73, of Waukomis, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Waukomis Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Donaldson will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Dean was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Waukomis to Floyd and Steva Urban Clark and died Thursday, Aug. 17, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He attended Pioneer schools. He served in the Army in Germany. He farmed east of Waukomis.
Surviving are his wife, Judy of the home; one daughter, Carol Ann Lowe of Waukomis; one son, Dale Clark of Enid; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Gardner, Twila June

Funeral services for Twila June Fox Gardner, 93, of Conroe, Texas, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. John Jamieson will officiate. Burial will follow in North Lions Cemetery, Marshall.
She was born June 21, 1913, in Kingfisher County to Leo Kent and Rosa Etta Hamiel Fox and died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006, at her home.
Separated at an early age from her mother Twila was raised by her Grandma and Grandpa Fox. She participated in track, cheerleading, and was an actress in the church acting group who put on traveling plays. Twila returned home in eighth grade to nurse her stepmother Hazel who was dying of tuberculosis. Following the death of her stepmother Twila began working as a waitress at about age 15 or 16. In 1937 Twila traveled to Galveston, Texas with her friend Geneiva to work as a waitress in a coffee shop. It was here that she met her husband Mac who was working there as a busboy. The three of them then traveled by train to Louisville and Twila and Mac continued on to Terre Haute, Indiana. It was there that Grano Gardner gave them a ring for Twila and the money to use for a marriage license. They were married at home on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1937. Following the wedding they traveled back to Oklahoma to meet Twila’s family. Cleo helped Mac get a job through a friend at a concrete plant in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. Louis Mac was born there much to the joy of his parents. Eventually they traveled back to Terre Haute where Mac began working for Dupont. While working for Dupont they initially lived in Washington State. They then moved to Port Arthur, Texas where Luana Beth was born. The family subsequently traveled to Camden, South Carolina and then Delaware. It was in Newark, Delaware that they finally settled down. Following Mac’s death in 1992 Twila spent more and more time in Texas with Luana eventually relocating there. Most recently Twila has been living with Luana at her home in Grangerland, Texas. Twila was a very opinionated and strong willed woman. She loved her family. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, sewing, writing poetry and collecting elephants. She read her bible regularly and always said that Jesus’ words were the most important part.
Surviving are one daughter, Luana Beth Hawthorne of Conroe; a sister, Cora Lea; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac; one son; two sisters; and one brother.

Geddes, Cameron Jay

A private family service for Cameron Jay Geddes, 52, of Enid, will be held at a later date. He was cremated at his request.
Cameron was born Oct. 9, 1953, in Topeka, Kan., to Lowell Jay and Rowena N. Hohweiler Geddes and died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at his home. He graduated from Waukomis High School in 1971. He married Anita Karr Sept. 9, 1972, in Garfield County. He later married Billie Jo Stewart March 9, 1991, in Garfield County.
He served in the Air Force from 1972 to 1976 at Forbes Air Force Base in Kansas and Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. He was a member of Friday Seniors bowling league and a retired dispatcher from Stride Well Services in Ringwood. He was a Little League baseball coach.
Surviving are his mother, Rowena of Enid; four children, Heather Geddes of Moore, Re-becca Geddes of Enid, Krystina Peck of Midwest City, and Matt Peck of Enid; one sister, Cynthia Geddes of Ponte Verdra Beach, Fla.; one brother, Kyle Geddes of Arlington, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.

Rahm, Rosalie

Funeral services for Rosalie Rahm, 91, of Enid, will be 3 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Fu-neral Home.
She was born March 6, 1915, in Wagoner to William and Lena Belle Hix Workman and died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
She was attended Garber schools and graduated from Enid Business College. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 73 years, a past worthy matron in Enid Chapter Order of Eastern Star, past president of Lincoln Elementary School PTA and was active in Garfield County Democratic Women’s Club. She was a supporter of Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Project and volunteered as a tutor.
Surviving are two daughters, Dr. Dana R. Sutton of New York and Annette Floyd of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; and four granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, three brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart division, or charity of donor’s choice.

Faulkner, Charles Douglas

Funeral services for Charles Douglas Faulkner will be Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cem-etery.
Charles Douglas Faulkner was born in the small timber and saw-milling community of Graysonia, Arkansas, April 12, 1922. Charles was one of 13 children born to Joseph Hardy Faulkner and Augusta Jennings Faulkner. Charles lived to be 84 years old and died in Enid, Oklahoma, August 12, 2006, following a period of illness.
While Charles was a youth, the Joseph Hardy Faulkner family moved from Graysonia, Arkansas, to another saw-milling town nearby named Delight, Arkansas. In 1942 Charles graduated from Delight High School and married his high school sweetheart, Jessie Pearl Lewal-len, who had also graduated from Delight High School that same year.
In 1943, the couple and their six-week old daughter, Charlotte Ann, moved to Bethany, Oklahoma where Charles entered Bethany Nazarene College to study for the ministry. He was also employed by the Bethany Fire Department and lived in an apartment above the fire station near the college. In the early 1940s, charles worked at the U.S. Army Ammunition National Guard in Hope, Arkansas, testing heavy artillery shells. In July of 1945, a son, Douglas Ray Faulkner was born. Charles, Jessie, Charlotte and Douglas comprised the immediate family of Charles Faulkner. Charles became a minister and served several churches in Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.
Charles completed two college degrees (a Bachelor’s degree from Arkansas State College and a Master’s degree from Western State College of Colorado) and became a teacher, principal, and at retirement was a school superintendent in Caddo Gap, Arkansas. While an English teacher in Casa Grande, Arizona, Charles (Mr. Faulkner to his students) received an outstanding English teacher award from Arizona State University. Charles also served as school superintendent in his and Jessie’s hometown of Delight, Arkansas. Jessie taught elementary school in Delight during this same period of time.
Charles enjoyed working with horses and mules and trained some of the carriage horses that were used at the Arlington Hotel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. One of the most popular horses, “Smokey Boy,” a large Appaloosa, is still pulling a carriage occasionally for the Doug and Donna Faulkner family. After retirement, Charles en-joyed helping with horses, gardening and maintaining facilities for Faulkner Corporation, an oil and gas exploration and production company here in Enid. Charles was interested in the oil and gas business but more interested in the grandkids and the horses.
Charles and Jessie Faulkner’s daughter, Charlotte Ann Potter and her husband, Dr. Gary Potter reside in College Station, Texas. Charlotte and Gary are both educators. Charlotte spent 27 years with A&M Consolidated High School and Gary was head of the horse science program at Texas A&M. They have one son, Bill Doug Potter of Bentonville, Arkansas. Bill and his wife, Kathy have two sons, Matthew and Daniel.
Charles and Jessie’s son, Douglas Ray Faulkner and his wife, Donna E. Faulkner live in Enid. Their daughter, Angela Rae Faulkner, preceded her grandfather, Charles Faulkner in death in April 2002. Doug and Donna’s son, Drew Faulkner and his wife, Brittany reside in Edmond, Oklahoma with their three children, London, Range, and River.

Storey, Staff Sgt. Clint Joseph

Funeral service for Staff Sgt. Clint Joseph Storey, 30-year-old former Enid resident will be Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at 10 a.m. in Central Christian Church. Chaplain (Major) Martha A. Carson will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. There will be a visitation this afternoon at the funeral home between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Clint was born February 27, 1976, in Enid to Clint Edward Storey and Carol Birchfield Storey and was killed in action in Iraq on August 4, 2006. He attended local schools and entered into the U.S. Army in 1997. He was stationed at Ft. Hood TX and Ft. Riley KS. He served for a year in Bosnia. He was also a recruiter in the Los Angeles area for three years.
On September 18, 2000 he married Melissa Wrann in Killeen, TX.
He is survived by his wife Melissa, of Palmer, Mass.; a daughter, Adela Claire Storey, of Palmer; his mother, Carol and her husband William Russell Inherst of Enid; three sisters, Charlene Phillips of Newcastle, OK, Tammy Divine of Waynoka, OK, and Tonja Whitehead of Bartlesville, OK; his grandparents; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins. He is also survived by his two best friends, Mike Jones and Jason Martin, and a host of others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clint Edward Storey.

Ballard, Dan Harold

A memorial service for Dan Harold Ballard, 57, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Christian Church. The Rev. Dennis Treat will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born July 5, 1949, in Enid to Dale and Gloria Gibson Ballard and died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at his home. He attended school in Jefferson and graduated from Enid High School in 1967. He worked as a mechanic at Northcutt Chevrolet and Stuart Pontiac. He was a truck driver, retiring from Advance Food Co. in 2000.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa of the home; four sons, Nick Ballard, Heath Conrady and Jeff Conrady, all of Enid, and Eric Ballard of Tulsa; his mother, Gloria Ballard of Jefferson; one sister, Teresa Holloway of Waldron, Ark.; two brothers, Tim and Jay Ballard, both of Enid; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society, Relay for Life through Enid Cancer Care or Hospice Circle of Love.

Bymaster, Mary Lu

The funeral for Mary Lu (Rundle) Bymaster, 77-year-old Ames resident, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at Ames Christian Church. Rev. Mickey Moery and Rev. Lyle Bowler will officiate. Burial will follow in Ames Cemetery, Ames, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Mary was born Aug. 5, 1929, near Covington, OK to Leo and Emma Rundle and died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She resided in the Ames area her entire life. Mary attended the Ames schools and graduated high school in 1948. She married Chester Bymaster Sept. 24, 1948.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Bymaster, of the home; sons, Rodney of Metamora, MI, Craig and his wife Susan of Ames, OK, and Jerry and his wife Terry of Japan; daughter, Cindy Snodgrass and husband Wayne of Ames, OK; brother, Tommy Rundle and wife Bonnie of Little Rock, AR; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Le Lovely.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Ames Christian Church with Henninger-Allen Funeral Home acting as custodian of the fund.
